Becoming a SAM-I-AM Nappies Consultant

Sam-I-Am! provides a mail-order service nationwide however, our goal is to have a consultant running a home-based business in every community. We feel seeing another parent using these cotton nappies is the most effective marketing tool. Often new mothers need guidance regarding nappies and that is best offered as a personal service. The role of a Sam-I-Am! consultant involves informing parents about the environmental, health and economic issues associated with cloth vs. disposable nappies, answering their practical how-to questions plus providing moral support to these new parents.

When a customer requires to see a consultant we will put them in contact with their nearest one. Each consultant runs their own business and will be responsible for marketing in their community through word of mouth, posters, leaflets, demonstrations or local advertising. Consultants are to keep track of all invoicing and payments made with their customers.

Holding a quantity of stock is not required however, keep in mind that you will have difficulty selling a product you haven’t got so a sample kit is a good idea, for exclusive agents we can offer considerable marketing support and materials.
